Λεμονιά Ράγια

Η Δρ Λεμονιά Ράγια είναι πτυχιούχος του Τμήματος Αγρονόμων και Τοπογράφων Μηχανικών του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης. Το διδακτορικό της ήταν στο Ινστιτούτο Φωτογραμμετρίας του Πανεπιστημίου της Βόννης, Γερμανία. Μετά την ολοκλήρωση της διδακτορικής της διατριβής ήταν Μεταδιδακτορική Συνεργάτης στην Ομάδα Εξόρυξης Γνώσης, Fraunhofer Institute for Autonomous Intelligent, Γερμανία. Εργάστηκε ως ερευνήτρια στο Τμήμα Επιστήμης Υπολογιστών του  Πολυτεχνείου του Άαχεν, Γερμανία. Επισκέφτηκε την ομάδα βάσης δεδομένων στο Microsoft Research, Seattle, ΗΠΑ. Ήταν βοηθός στο Πανεπιστήμιο της Γενεύης, Ελβετία, και ήταν Επισκέπτρια Καθηγήτρια στο Πανεπιστήμιο του Τορόντο, Καναδάς. Δίδαξε στο Πολυτεχνείο Κρήτης και τώρα διδάσκει στο Ελληνικό Ανοικτό Πανεπιστήμιο τοπογραφία, φωτογραμμετρία, τηλεπισκόπηση και Γεωγραφικά Συστήματα Πληροφοριών Γης. Συμμετείχε σε πολλά ερευνητικά έργα και έχει γράψει πολλές δημοσιεύσεις στους επιστημονικούς τομείς της φωτογραμμετρίας, της επεξεργασίας εικόνας, της χωρικής ανάλυσης, της επαυξημένης πραγματικότητας και της γεωπληροφορικής. Τα ενδιαφέροντά της αναφέρονται κυρίως σε θέματα της κλιματικής αλλαγής, των παράκτιων περιοχών και της πολιτιστικής κληρονομιάς.
