Christina N. Skandali is an Architect (Dipl. Architect, AUTH) and Lighting Designer (MSc Light & Lighting, Bartlett School, UCL). The last fifteen years, she has worked both in the UK and Greece in a great variety of projects; in the fields of Architectural Lighting, Energy Saving, Street Lighting and Smart City Applications and Tunnel Lighting. At the same time, since 2015, she holds a position as an Adjunct Professor at the Hellenic Open University at the MA Lighting Design. Her research interests are related to Architectural Lighting, Energy Efficiency in Buildings, Sustainable Lighting, Street Lighting and Smart City Applications.
She is a Member of the Society of Light & Lighting, SLL (MSLL, CIBSE), the Greek Architectural Association and the Technical Chamber of Greece and follows both academic and professional progression in the field of Lighting Design by participating in CPD Seminars, Conferences and Studies
